2.10.2 Disassembling the Camera (Detailed Description)

For disassembling the outer shell of the D12, you need the supplied custom tool; for

dismounting the dome, a lint-free cotton cloth is required (see section 2.9,

(1) Removing the outer shell

For security reasons, the outer shell can only be removed using the supplied

custom tool. Proceed as shown in the figure below:

• Disengage the outer shell using the supplied custom tool. Insert the tip of

the custom tool into the three small holes of the shell, one by one. Gently

lift the shell near each hole to loosen the shell.

• Remove the outer shell from the camera.
