7. FAQ – Important Information:

- S15M and S15D Hemispheric (L12) models will be available in July 2013

- S14M and S14D Hemispheric models will still be available

- The new 5 Megapixel sensor are only compatible with the newly introduced models

- S14 sensor modules cannot be used with S15 models (and vice versa)

Conclusive Still Images: Thanks to the proprietary MxPEG video codec developed exclusively for MOBOTIX

cameras, the cameras oﬀer the advantage that a recording can be paused at any given point and still

provide meaningful and useful snapshots due to the absence of distortion. This is essential for security

applications and allows individuals or license plates to be identiﬁed, for example. In contrast, the H.264

standard, which was developed for feature movies and is favored by some video security providers,

cannot achieve this with the required or desired level of quality. Possibility to zoom in the recorded

image.

8. Delivery Schedule

Delivery of S15D FlexMount, D15 and V15 models starts from 6 of May 2013.
